Absolutely not. Some write in English and some write in their native language.

CVSA Nordic is an organization for a medical condition, and diagnosis is a highly private matter, so we are very aware not to post member lists anywhere.

People in the private facebook group – that are open only to members – can see other members of that group. But no one outside the group can see that you are a member.

So, if you are not member of the facebook group – only the CVSA Nordic team can see that you are member. And if you are a member of the facebook group – then only the other members of that group can see it. No one is a member of that group without being member of CVSA Nordic.

Awareness shop

We want to provide you with nice CVS awareness items, and to do that, we need to be able to sell them. We don’t have the resources to run the large online store ourselves, where we do the production of the items and/or have items on stock. So we are dependent on selling our items through platforms that provide us with all of those services.
We have landed on using these 3 platforms

1.  Spreadshirt
This is our main shop. Spreadshirt offers t-shirt, hoodies, cups, caps and many more merchandise with our own design motives on it. Spreadshirt sends from Germany to Europe, and from USA to North America.
2. Amazon
I don’t think we have to explain Amazon to you. Due to the way Amazon work, we cannot offer as many items there as we can on Spreadshirt, but we have a few of the most popular items available also there, for customers that prefer Amazon to Spreadshirt
3. A self-hosted woocommerce shop on our page
We have been contacted by members that wants to offer home made awareness items against a donation to CVS Nordic. We appreciate this and wants to help by offering a platform to sell these items. So we have included a woocommerce shop on our site to showcase and sell these items.

Two shop types are available on Spreadshirt´s platform. First, there are shops which are designed and operated by Spreadshirt itself (“Spreadshirt shops“), and second, there are shops which are designed and operated by independent shop owners (“partner shops”).

The CVSA Nordic awareness shop is such a partner shop.

CVSA Nordic design and own the design they sell through this partner shop

This partner shop operates from a platform provided by Spreadshirt (sprd.net AG). Spreadshirt is responsible for the technical functioning of this site and the processing of your order.

When placing an order in this partner Shop, the buyer exclusively enters into a contract with sprd.net AG and not with CVSA Nordic.

CVSA Nordic receive a provision from each sale and a royalty for the design.

We have uploaded some of our designs to Merch by Amazon.  Amazon handles production, shipping, and customer service.

When placing an order with Amazon, the buyer exclusively enters into a contract with Amazon and not with CVSA Nordic.

CVSA Nordic receives royalty from each sale.

The webshop is a woocommerce webshop sat up at our own website.

The merchedice is home made by our members, and sold through our website.

When placing an order in our webshop, the buyer enters into a contract CVSA Nordic, and CVSA Nordic guartee that you will get your money back if you don’r receive your item.

Once the purchase is done, CVSA Nordic will inform the maker of the item, and the maker of the item will post it as soon as possible and normally within 3 days.

The webshop is a platform we provide for members to showcase their home made awareness items that they want to sell against a donation to CVSA Nordic.

The very reason it was opened, was because members had items they wanted to sell, and their condition was that they would sent it to people if they donated a minimum sum of money to CVSA Nordic. It was never meant to be a shop where CVSA Nordic sold their own stuff.

CVSA Nordic has members from all over the world, and quite often, the seller and the buyer is not located in the same country.

Once an item cross the border between two countries, there are a question about customs. If you buy a merchandise from another country, you are often subject to pay customs and tax when the merchandise enters your country.

CVSA Nordic is a non-for-profit organisation, so items sold by us – if we were the sellers – would not be subject to tax and VAT. However, it would be the receiver of the goods responsibility to prove this to customs in their own country upon the arrival of the parcel.

Also, there are three parts in the transaction of items in our webshop:
1. the maker and sender of the item, which also is the real seller
2. CVSA Nordic: the receiver of the money, and provider of the platform
3. The buyer

Which means the item may even be sent from a different country than the receiver of the money.

To avoid all trouble with customs, we state the fact that the receiver of the item receive this item as a gift from the maker, after having donated money to CVSA Nordic.

It is up to the maker of the item to set the price of the donation.

The maker and sender of the gift will mark the parcel with gift on the customs form when they send the parcel.

The receiver of the item also cover the cost of shipping from the maker’s location. The donation and shipping cost is paid to CVSA Nordic upon choosing the gift, and CVSA Nordic will pay the cost of shipping to the sender of the parcel.

CVSA Nordic guarantee that the donation is refunded if the receiver does not receive the gift.

CVSA Nordic is run by an elected board, and consist of 5 people from the Nordic countries.

The board members has been elected by the annual general meeting as stated in the articles of organization.

No one in CVSA Nordic get paid for the work they put in, it is 100% volunteer work.

Everyone working for CVSA Nordic either have CVS themselves or family members with CVS.

It is 100% volunteer work, none of them receive any salary for doing this work. In fact, most of them have put money into CVSA Nordic to keep the site up. All of them are either disabled from CVS and co-morbid conditions, or are working full time in their day job beside taking care of sick family members and putting in as many hours as they can in CVSA Nordic.

Due to these facts, the time between we receive and email to we can answer it may vary depending on how sick everyone is, what else is happening in our day-to-day life. But we do all we can to keep the response time quick.

Has it been more than a week since you sent us an email, please send us a reminder.

Due to these facts, time is a limited resource in CVSA Nordic. We are all sponnies. We feel our time is better spent producing and spreading information for many, instead of giving it to people one by one.

Therefore we kindly ask you to see if we have already posted the information you look for on our website, and only write us if it’s missing, or you need additional information.

Also: Remember that we have a facebook group for our members, where you can ask all our members for advice, and where it is more people that can answer you.

It cost money to run CVSA Nordic, and member fees, donations and affliliate provisions are the only source of income we have. Without member fees, we would not have been able to keep the website up.

The money mainly goes to maintaining this website, including the yearly cost of domain name and webhosting, and tools to handle members and member fee payment.

The detailed information about the economy is presented at the annual general meeting, and are therefor available for all members to see.

Yes, there are plenty of things you can do.

The most important thing is to become a member. An organization is nothing without its members, and CVSA Nordic is no exception to that.

Other than that, you can help us by:

1. Be active in the facebook group
2. Support us through donations
3. Spread the word that we exist
4. Inform us when you see news about CVS that we haven’t included on our website
5 Tell us if there is something that doesn’t work on our website, sothat we can take care of that.
6. Always shop through our affiliate page when you are shopping from one of our affiliate partners
7. Buy awareness items through our awareness shop

Affiliates

Affiliate marketing is the process of earning a commission by promoting other people’s (or company’s) products. You find a product you like, promote it to others and earn a piece of the profit for each sale that you make.

The cost of the merchendise is exatly the same as if you bought them without going through the afflilate link in our website. So you will se no difference on your bill.

The only difference is that if you go to the online store through our affiliate link – we get a small percentage of your sale in return. So in the end you have supported s with money without paying anything extra. Smart, right?

That depends on the deal we have with the individual affiliate.

For gymgrossisten/fitnesstukku we receive 5% provision
For Kost1.no we receive 10% provision.
For Nutrilett.no we receive 10% provision.
For Bodyman.se we receive 10% provision
For Mecindo.se we receive 10% provision
For Proteinfabrikken.no we receive 6% provision
